Amanda Pillar is a speculative fiction author and editor who lives in Victoria, Australia, with her partner and two children, Saxon and Lilith, Burmese cats. She developed her love for books when she was 12 years old; and when she was 13, started writing her first — and absolutely terrible — novel.
Many years later, she has had numerous short stories published. She is the in-house editor for Morrigan Books and has co-edited the fiction anthologies, Voices (2008), Grants Pass (2009), and The Phantom Queen Awakes (2010). Amanda is currently working on Scenes from the Second Storey with Pete Kempshall, an anthology due to be published September, 2010.
In her free time, she plans on becoming the next Indiana Jones. |
